1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do comparable things, and everything in this policy applies to them too. Cookies let a website remember a choice you made, measure how content is used, or recognise you on a later visit.
2. Our approach
We use as few cookies as we can get away with. When you first arrive you will see a consent notice at the bottom of the screen with two clear options: Accept all and Reject optional. Both are equally prominent, because a reject option buried behind a settings menu is not a real choice.
No optional cookie is set before you accept. Nothing analytical, nothing advertising-related, and nothing from a third party runs until you have said yes. If you press Reject, we store a single record of that decision and load nothing else. If you ignore the notice entirely, we treat that as a refusal.
This reflects the requirements of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR, as interpreted in the Information Commissioner's Office guidance on the use of cookies.

This build ships with no third-party analytics or advertising tags installed. If we later add a measurement provider, or an advertising conversion tag, we will list it in the table above with its provider, purpose and duration, and it will be gated behind your consent in exactly the same way. We will also reset the consent record so you are asked again rather than opted in silently.
Advertising and affiliate tracking
We do not set advertising cookies on this website. However, our outbound brand links carry a tracking parameter in the URL so the operator can attribute a sign-up to us and pay the commission described in our Disclosure. That attribution happens on the operator's own website, under the operator's own cookie policy, after you have left ours. We have no control over it and no access to it.
If you would rather not be attributed to us, do not use our outbound links — visit the operator directly. Nothing about our reviews changes either way.
4. Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give:
- Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page to bring the notice back and choose again.
- Or clear cookies for pixelcrown.co.uk in your browser settings, which resets everything including the record of your choice.
5. Browser-level controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a private-browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. The relevant settings are usually under Privacy or Security. Blocking all cookies will stop the consent record from being stored, which means the notice will reappear on each visit — that is the mechanism working as intended, not a fault.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a refusal of optional cookies, and we do not override it with the consent notice.
7. Changes to this policy
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. Where a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it again rather than assume it.
