18+ only. UK residents only. All offers are subject to the operator's own terms, eligibility criteria and wagering requirements. Read them in full on the operator's website before committing. Gambling involves risk — never wager money you cannot afford to lose. BeGambleAware.org

In Britain, only an operator holding a Gambling Commission licence may lawfully take your money.

That licence is the only thing standing between you and no recourse at all. So it is where every review here starts.

Our method

This is how
we rate

Five weighted criteria, applied in the same order to every brand. Licensing carries the most weight because it is the one factor you cannot recover from getting wrong.

Step 0130%

Licensing & consumer safety

We start at the Gambling Commission public register and work backwards to the brand. If we cannot match a brand to a named licensee and an active account number, the review does not get published. We record the licensee, the account number, the operating licence number and the listed activities, and we link straight to the register entry so you can repeat the check yourself.

Step 0220%

Welcome offer fairness

We read the full terms, not the headline. Wagering multiple, which balance it applies to, contribution weighting, maximum conversion, expiry window and maximum stake while a bonus is live. An offer that looks large but converts poorly scores below a smaller offer with clean terms.

Step 0320%

Banking & withdrawals

Which deposit routes work, which withdrawal routes are actually offered back, what the stated processing window is, and how much verification friction sits in front of a first payout. UK credit-card deposits have been prohibited since April 2020, so any brand still advertising them is an immediate red flag.

Step 0415%

Library depth & fairness

Breadth across recognised studios, the spread of stake ranges, whether return-to-player figures are published, and whether the live-dealer wing runs in GBP at sensible table minimums. Volume alone does not score well if it is a thousand near-identical reels.

Step 0515%

Support & interface

How fast a real question gets a real answer, which channels exist, and whether the safer-gambling controls are reachable in two taps or buried four levels deep. We time our own enquiries rather than quoting the brand back at you.

Common questions

FAQ

PixelCrown is a UK-focused editorial publication that reviews online casino brands licensed by the Gambling Commission. We were established in 2026 and we operate from London. We do not accept deposits, we do not hold customer funds, and we do not offer anything to wager on. Every review is written by a person, published under our own name, and dated so you can see how current it is.

Through affiliate commission. When you follow one of our outbound brand links and go on to open an account, the operator may pay us a fee. That fee is paid by the operator, never by you, and it does not change the terms you are offered. Commission has no bearing on scores or rankings, and we publish the full arrangement on our Disclosure page.

Five weighted criteria: licensing and consumer safety (30%), welcome offer fairness (20%), banking and withdrawals (20%), library depth and fairness (15%), and support and interface (15%). The full method, including what we look for in each category, is published on our How We Rate page. Scores are editorial opinion; licensing data is verified fact.

Open the Gambling Commission public register, search the licensee name or account number, and confirm the status reads Active and that the brand you are looking at appears in the domain-names list for that account. Every review on PixelCrown links directly to the relevant register entry so you can do this in one click. If a brand cannot be matched to an active UK licence, do not deposit with it.

GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme for Great Britain. One request blocks you from every operator licensed by the Gambling Commission for a period you choose — six months, one year or five years — and it cannot be reversed early. If you feel your gambling is no longer a choice you are making freely, GamStop is the single most effective step available to you, and it takes a few minutes.

No. Credit-card deposits for gambling have been prohibited across Great Britain since 14 April 2020. Any brand that still offers one to a UK customer is not operating within the rules, and that alone is reason enough to close the tab. Debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal and bank transfer remain available.

О нас — about

About

PixelCrown is an independent editorial publication covering online casino brands licensed for the British market. We were established in 2026 and we work from London. We are not an operator: we take no deposits, hold no customer funds, and offer nothing to wager on.

The reason we exist is narrow and, we think, useful. A great deal of what is written about UK casino brands is ranked by commission rate and dressed up as editorial. We do the opposite: we start at the Gambling Commission public register, confirm the licensee behind a brand, publish the account number and licence number in full, and only then form a view. If a brand cannot be matched to an active UK licence, it does not appear here at all.

We are funded by affiliate commission, which the operator pays us and you never do. That arrangement is disclosed on every page and set out in full on our Disclosure page. It buys placement in our outbound links. It does not buy a score, a ranking, an award, or a change to a published verdict.

Everything factual here is dated so you can judge how current it is. Everything subjective is labelled as our opinion. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will correct it openly with a note saying what changed.
